Fact Sheets

Each year the Swimming Pool and Spa Association of Victoria publishes a
directory (not a magazine) which is a reference text to promote a better
understanding of the technology involved in modern pools and spas, and the
skills required to build and maintain them. If you would like to receive a
copy of The Pool and Spa Book 2006 please visit
www.spasavic.com.au to register your
interest, the directory is also available as a PDF download.
SPASA came into being in Victoria in 1961 when a small group of pool builders
met to discuss their industry. It now covers the entire pool and spa
industry across the state and includes builders, shops, manufacturers and
service agents. The original aim was to establish standards and business
ethics and product quality that would protect the pool and spa buyer and ensure
their complete satisfaction.
Pauline's father, Alfred Woods, is a Past President and Life Member of SPASA.
Below are links to "Fact Sheets" available from SPASA which are designed to
help you increase your knowledge in understanding the technology involved in
modern pools and spas, and the skills required to build and maintain them.
